Capabilities : Sizes

General tubing size range capability for Valley Metals is from .062” outside diameter (OD) to 90”+OD and wall thickness (W) from 0.003” to 0.400” (depending on the outside diameter).

Ducting - Tubing defined as thin wall from .500” OD to 9.000” OD and .016” to .080” W, generally used in aerospace ducting applications such as bleed air and environmental control.
Redraw - Tubing which either requires a cross-sectional reduction to meet specification or tubing less than .500” OD made from rolled and welded tubing manufactured in-house or seamless hollows purchased outside. Applications generally include fuel systems, aircraft actuation equipment, hydraulics or other uses where improved tensile properties may be required.
Engineered - Other tubing with special diameter and/or wall thicknesses or specification requirements or identified with a drawing or requiring additional processes such as machined features.
Shaped - Rectangles, squares, ovals, custom shapes.
Cones - Tapered tubes are available. Check with Valley Metals Sales for specific sizes or to meet a particular drawing.
