High performance materials are the heart of Valley Metals’ capability. While stainless and high strength steels may be considered tough alloys by some producers, these are the starting point for Valley. Stainless applications cover the spectrum from aerospace to medical to instrumentation and other industrial uses.
Nickel and cobalt alloys with high temperature and corrosion properties make up a major portion of Valley’s production. These alloys are used in the hot section of aircraft gas turbine engines, land based power turbines, corrosive environments in the chemical, petrochemical and down hole industries and marine markets. Titanium and titanium alloys are common materials at Valley Metals.They are used in aerospace for their great strength to weight ratio, seawater environments for its corrosion resistance and in oilfield/offshore applications using a combination of both features. Click here to see our titanium data.
